Can You Schedule Tweets on X Without a Tool?
Partly, and it depends on your account:
- The x.com composer. Until at least January 2026, X's help page described scheduling from the web composer: select the calendar icon at the bottom of the compose box, choose a date and time, then select Confirm, and find scheduled posts under Unsent posts. The current version of that page no longer mentions scheduling, so check your own composer.
- X Pro (formerly TweetDeck). X documents scheduling posts in advance in X Pro, including for several accounts. X Pro is part of the Premium+ tier, which starts at $40/month on the web.
Either way, X schedules one post at a time. Postel adds what you need to post on a schedule: posting slots, a calendar, full threads with media, X Communities, Auto-Plug, drafts written in your voice, and LinkedIn in the same workspace.

How Postel's Twitter Scheduler Works
Step 1: Connect your X account
Sign up, then connect X in Settings > Channels. You approve the connection on X's own consent screen.
Step 2: Write or generate the post
Write the post or thread in the editor, or describe an idea, paste a YouTube video, podcast or article link, and let Postel draft it in your voice.
Step 3: Choose when it goes out
Send it to your next free posting slot, pick a date and time, or publish now. Add X Communities, Natural Posting Times or Auto-Plug in the same dialog.
Step 4: Manage the queue in the calendar
Every scheduled post appears in the calendar. Open one to edit it, move it to another time or cancel it.
