Does Bluesky have analytics?
Not in the app. As of October 2026, Bluesky has no analytics dashboard and doesn't count views. What it does show is public: the follower count on every profile, and the likes, reposts, replies and quotes on every post. Its public API also returns how many times each post was saved.
The tool above adds up those public counts for up to 50 of an account's latest posts, so you get the averages and the best posts without copying numbers into a spreadsheet. Your browser reads them straight from Bluesky's public API, the same way bsky.app does for a logged-out visitor.
How do I see my Bluesky stats?
Paste your handle in the box above and press Get stats. Then read the report in this order:
- The three numbers at the top: engagement rate, average engagements per post and posting pace.
- What people did: how the engagements split into likes, reposts, replies, quotes and saves.
- Your best posts. Open them and look at what they have in common.
- Bookmark the page. The link keeps your handle, so next week's check is one click.
How is Bluesky engagement rate calculated?
Bluesky doesn't show views, so the rate is by followers: average engagements per post ÷ followers × 100. Engagements are likes, reposts, replies, quotes and saves added together.
Say an account has 2,000 followers and its last 50 posts got 3,000 engagements. That's 60 per post, and 60 ÷ 2,000 × 100 = 3%.
What does each number mean?
| Number | What it tells you | How we count it |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | How many accounts follow this one. | The exact count from the profile. |
| Engagement rate | Engagements on an average post, as a share of followers. | Engagements per post ÷ followers × 100. |
| Avg. engagements per post | How much response a post gets on average. | Likes + reposts + replies + quotes + saves, averaged. The median post is shown under it, since one viral post can't pull a median up. |
| Posting pace | How often the account posts. | Posts read ÷ weeks since the oldest of them. |
| Best posts | Which posts worked. | The three with the most engagements, compared with the median (typical) post. |

Who is this tool for?
It's for creators and small teams who want to see which of their recent Bluesky posts worked, and for anyone sizing up an account before working with it.
It isn't the right tool for:
- Views, reach or link clicks. Bluesky doesn't publish them.
- History older than the latest 50 posts, or a follower count over time.
- Accounts whose owners asked Bluesky to show them to signed-in people only. We show nothing for those.
How do I get more engagement on Bluesky?
- Lead with the point. A post holds up to 300 characters, and the first line decides if people stop.
- Ask something or take a side, so people have a reason to reply instead of scrolling past.
- Post when your followers are online. The Following feed is in time order, so a post sent while they're away sits below everything newer.
- Post on a steady rhythm, and use the posting pace in your report to check you're keeping it.
- Reply to the people who reply to you, then check the replies share in your report to see which posts started a conversation.
To keep a steady rhythm, schedule your Bluesky posts and threads with Postel and send the same idea to X, LinkedIn and Mastodon. For X, the free Twitter analytics tool shows any account's last 7 days.
