Latest

Post to Bluesky and Mastodon

Connect Bluesky with your handle and an app password, or Mastodon on any server, then write, schedule and post to them, threads included. Analytics show likes, replies, reposts and followers (favorites and boosts on Mastodon). Neither network reports views.

One post, a version for each network

Pick your channels in a row above the editor. They share one text, and Postel fits it to each network for free: split into a thread where the network has threads, merged into one post where it doesn't. Customize gives one channel its own text, Rewrite adapts the text to that network for 1 credit, and every network has a live preview.

Pro and up

Plan next week

For X and LinkedIn: open a plan for the free slots in your next 7, 14 or 28 days. Each card has an opening line, a format and the material it comes from: your saved Facts, your best older posts, trends in your niche or viral posts. Swap or edit cards, then write them all at once, in the background. Planning is free, and each written post costs 1 credit.

Dark mode

The app now has a dark theme. Turn it on in Settings, Profile, Appearance, from the account menu or with Cmd+K. Post previews switch to each network's own dark look.

Phone

  • Postel works in your phone's browser

Today, Review, Write, Calendar and Ask Postel sit in a bottom tab bar, and the composer keeps its toolbar above the keyboard. In Review, swipe a For You draft right to schedule it or left to skip it. No app to install.

Networks

  • Disconnect a channel

Disconnect in Settings, Channels tells you what stops and how many scheduled posts it affects. Your posts, drafts and analytics stay.

Fixes

Impressions, reactions, comments and reposts for the LinkedIn posts you publish through Postel, plus followers, for your profile and for company Pages.

The new Postel: Today, Review and Library

Postel is redesigned around your week. Today shows it as posting slots. Review holds your For You drafts (the posts Postel writes for you each week, Pro and up). The Library keeps your Facts (the notes Postel writes from), your Voice and your Brand. Facts show where each one came from, Voice shows your best posts and why, and Brand (Pro and up) sets the look of image and carousel posts.

Analytics

  • Analytics for each channel

Analytics shows each channel's post and follower numbers, compares each post with your typical post and shows your best time to post. LinkedIn analytics are coming soon: submitted to LinkedIn for review.

Plans

  • AI credits you can see

A monthly credit balance replaces the hidden 5-hour limit: a chat message costs 2 credits, a draft or rewrite 1. Unused credits roll over, up to a month's worth. At 0 you keep going in Lite mode (a lighter model), 10 actions a day.

  • X posts with links now have a monthly limit

X charges Postel far more for a post with a link, so each plan has a monthly limit on them: 30 on Starter, 100 on Pro and no limit on Team. The editor warns you before you schedule one. LinkedIn posts never count.

Teams

  • Post approvals

Optional rules for teams: posts by members, AI-written posts or both wait for an owner or admin. Reviewers get an email and approve a post or send it back with a note.

  • Channels belong to the workspace

A workspace's X and LinkedIn channels are no longer tied to the owner's login, so everyone on the team posts to the same channels.

Scheduling

  • One post on several dates, and saved snippets

Schedule a post on up to 10 extra dates, each as its own copy. Save text you reuse and insert it from the editor toolbar.

  • Evergreen posts

Mark a post evergreen and Postel queues a copy into your next free slot every 30, 60 or 90 days, with an optional limit. The calendar lists your evergreen posts so you can stop one.

  • Import posts from a CSV

Import up to 500 X and LinkedIn posts at once. You see the problems per row before anything is saved, and rows with a date get scheduled.

Account

  • Log in with an emailed code

Log in and sign up with a 6-digit code sent by email instead of a link, so email scanners can't use it up. Signup is one field. Password, Google, X and LinkedIn login still work.

Pro and up

Viral videos, and posts picked for you

The viral post library gets a Videos tab: short videos from small creators, each showing how far it beat its creator's usual views. A Picked for you tab shows viral posts scored for your niche.

Sign up with LinkedIn

The homepage now offers Continue with LinkedIn next to X, so you can start without an X account.

Post and schedule to your LinkedIn profile: text, images, video, document carousels, link previews and a first comment. The editor shows LinkedIn's fold and limit with a live preview, and Postel learns your LinkedIn voice from your posts. Adapt rewrites a post in the other network's format.

Frequently asked questions

Which networks can Postel post to?
As of October 29, 2026, Postel posts to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon. Instagram, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn company Pages are next.
When will Instagram, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn company Pages be available?
As of October 29, 2026, all 4 are built and waiting on platform review: Meta (Instagram and Threads), Google (YouTube), and LinkedIn (LinkedIn company Pages). Each one switches on the day its platform approves Postel's app. The platforms set the timing, so we don't give dates. Leave your email on a network's page and we'll email you the day it goes live.
Can I use my own Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI or OpenRouter API key in Postel?
Yes, on Pro and up. Since October 28, 2026, Settings › AI key takes an Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter key, and writing on your key spends no Postel credits. An OpenRouter key runs the same Claude models; an OpenAI key runs OpenAI's models instead. Turn on “Use plan credits first” to spend credits before your key. For You drafts (the posts Postel writes for you each week) don't use your key yet.
How can I follow Postel's updates?
New entries appear in the changelog's RSS feed, and we post them on X at @postel_app. Each entry has its own link, so you can share one change.
