Best LinkedIn Scheduling Tools in 2026: 9 Tools Compared

Joschua Sünneke
Joschua Sünneke•Oct 3, 2026

The best LinkedIn scheduling tool depends on what you need besides scheduling. LinkedIn's own scheduler is free and covers the occasional post. Taplio is the fullest LinkedIn growth suite, AuthoredUp suits people who write their own posts and want analytics, Buffer is the cheapest way to cover many networks, and Postel fits people who post on LinkedIn and X and want help writing in their own voice. Postel is our product, so read its entry with that in mind. Every competitor fact on this page comes from the vendor's own website or help centre, checked on October 3, 2026, and each tool's limits are listed as plainly as its strengths.

1. LinkedIn's Built-in Scheduler

LinkedIn lets members schedule posts for free on desktop and in the mobile app. The time has to be between 10 minutes and 3 months from now, and events, jobs and service posts can't be scheduled. Scheduled posts are listed under "View all scheduled posts", where you can edit, reschedule or delete them. Page admins can schedule from one hour to three months ahead, but not posts with multiple photos, polls or reshares.

Good for: the occasional post. It schedules one post at a time, with no queue of posting slots and no help with writing.

2. Postel

Postel is a writing and scheduling tool for people who post as themselves on LinkedIn and X. It learns your writing style, drafts posts from your ideas, YouTube videos, podcasts and articles, and schedules them to your personal LinkedIn profile with up to 20 images, one video or one document, plus an optional first comment. The same calendar holds your X posts and threads, and an X post can be adapted into a LinkedIn post. It also has an MCP server, so you can draft and schedule from Claude or ChatGPT.

Price: $29/month, or $19/month billed yearly, with a 7-day trial. Limits: no company pages, no carousel builder (you upload a finished document), no LinkedIn analytics.

3. Taplio

Taplio is a LinkedIn growth suite: AI writing that "learns your voice from your posts and edits", a queue with time slots, an AI carousel generator, scheduled first comments, analytics, an engagement feed and, on the top plan, a lead database and outreach automation. It publishes to personal profiles and company pages. Posting to X goes through Tweet Hunter, which needs its own subscription and caps those posts at 280 characters.

Price: Starter $39/month, Growth $69/month, Pro $199/month, or about 25% less billed yearly. Starter has no AI writing. The 7-day trial needs a payment method and turns into a paid plan on day 7.

4. AuthoredUp

AuthoredUp is built for people who write their own LinkedIn posts: formatting tools, a readability grade, previews for several devices, and detailed analytics with history import and CSV export. It works with profiles, company pages and groups; company pages are free on every plan. Scheduling, video, polls and events run through its Chrome extension. Its AI writer, Coauthor, is in closed beta.

Price: $19.95/month for one profile, or $16.63/month billed yearly. Business plans are $14.95 per profile per month, from 3 profiles.

5. ContentIn

ContentIn drafts a weekly content plan for you. It builds a writing model from at least 20 of your existing LinkedIn posts and a short interview, then schedules posts with images, video or carousels and a first comment. Company pages and its MCP server are on the Pro plan.

Price: Growth $39/month, Pro $59/month, or $31 and $48 per month billed yearly. No free plan; the 7-day trial asks for a card. Growth includes 4 AI carousels a month.

6. Supergrow

Supergrow writes LinkedIn posts with its Content DNA voice model and "Postcast", AI interviews that turn a 10 to 15 minute conversation into drafts. It schedules with a smart queue and an automatic first comment. The carousel maker, analytics, engagement feed and MCP server are on Pro, and the Teams plan adds approval workflows and team analytics.

Price: Starter $19/month, Pro $39/month, Teams $139/month for 4 accounts, or 20% less billed yearly. 7-day trial.

7. Buffer

Buffer schedules to more than a dozen networks, including LinkedIn profiles and pages, X, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. On LinkedIn it handles up to 20 images, a video or a PDF, and a first comment on paid plans. Its AI assistant writes and rewrites posts, but Buffer doesn't claim it learns your voice.

Price: free for up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Essentials is $6 per channel per month and Team $12, or $5 and $10 billed yearly. 14-day trial on paid plans.

8. Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a suite for social media teams: publishing, an inbox, listening and reporting across most networks. It schedules LinkedIn profiles and pages with images, video, one PDF and a first comment, but says LinkedIn's API doesn't let it publish carousels, events, polls or articles. Its AI drafts posts in your brand's voice.

Price: from $99 per user per month, billed annually, with a 14-day trial.

9. Kleo

Kleo started as a free LinkedIn Chrome extension and is now a paid product that bundles AI writing in your voice, scheduling, analytics, templates and visuals with weekly live calls and a community.

Price: $99/month plus $49/month per additional profile, or $999 a year. No trial; a money-back guarantee instead. Its site doesn't document company pages, documents or first comments.

How to Choose

  1. Personal profile or company page? If you need company pages, Postel is out; Taplio, AuthoredUp, Buffer and Hootsuite all support them.
  2. LinkedIn only, or X as well? Postel, Buffer and Hootsuite publish to both directly. Taplio needs a second subscription for X.
  3. Do you want help writing? Postel, ContentIn, Supergrow, Taplio (Growth and up) and Kleo all write in your voice. AuthoredUp's AI is in closed beta; Buffer's is generic.
  4. Do you need analytics or lead tools? Taplio, AuthoredUp and ContentIn have LinkedIn analytics; Taplio adds lead tools. Postel has none.
  5. Budget. LinkedIn's scheduler and Buffer's free plan cost nothing. Most writing tools start between $19 and $39 a month.

How We Compared

We read each tool's pricing page, feature pages and help centre on October 3, 2026, and copied prices exactly as shown. Where a vendor's site doesn't mention a feature, the table says so rather than guessing. Postel is our own product; its entry follows the same rules, including what it doesn't do.

LinkedIn itself, Taplio, AuthoredUp (free on every plan), Supergrow, ContentIn (Pro plan), Buffer and Hootsuite. Postel publishes to personal profiles only.
