Claude is good at writing social media posts once you show it how you write, but on its own it can't publish, schedule or see how a post did. Add a publishing connector and it can: with Postel, Claude drafts posts in your voice and schedules them to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon after you approve each one.
Listed in Claude's directory. Needs a Postel account: $1 for 7 days, then from $29 a month.

An example chat, drawn by us with Postel's real tool names. Claude's own screens look a little different.
Claude asks before it runs a tool that schedules or publishes, unless you've set that tool to always allow. Research is the exception: it can run connector tools without asking, so switch off Postel's schedule and publish tools before you use it.
Step 1: Teach Claude your voice
Before you ask for a post, give Claude real examples to work from:
A Project for social posts. Put five to ten of your best posts and a short note on who you write for in the project's knowledge, and add instructions such as "Write in my voice from the posts in this project. Short sentences. No hashtags. Never invent results." Every chat in the project starts from that. Projects are on every Claude plan; the free plan allows five.
Facts, not adjectives. "Make it engaging" does nothing. "We cut onboarding from 9 steps to 4 and trials went from 31% to 44% activation" gives Claude something to write about.
If you use Postel, it already has your voice: it reads your recent LinkedIn or X posts and drafts from them, so you can skip the samples and ask for "a post about X in my voice".
Step 2: Add a publishing connector
Claude publishes through connectors, which are built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). For LinkedIn and X posts in your own voice:
Once the connector is on, one message can fill your week:
"Here are my notes from this week: [paste]. Write three LinkedIn posts and three X posts from them, then schedule them Tuesday to Thursday, LinkedIn at 8:30am and X at noon, London time."
"Turn this blog post into an X thread and a LinkedIn post. Save both as drafts."
"What do I have scheduled next week, and which days are still empty?"
"Find viral X posts about pricing pages and tell me what their openings have in common."
Claude can save up to 25 posts in one request, each with its own network, date, images and LinkedIn first comment. Scheduled posts show up in your Postel calendar and the rest under Drafts, where you can still edit them.
Step 4: Review before it posts
Read every post before you approve the schedule. AI drafts go wrong in predictable ways: an invented anecdote, a number you never gave it, a closing question nobody asked for. Postel's writer is told not to invent results or experiences, but you're the one who knows what's true.
Claude Code for marketing
If you build software, Claude Code can do the same from your terminal, with your repo as the source material. Install Postel's plugin and ask it to turn the commits since your last release into posts. See build in public from Claude Code.
The plugin also adds a writing skill, so Claude follows each network's format: the hook before LinkedIn's "see more" fold, 280 characters on X, links in the first comment on LinkedIn.
What to keep doing yourself
Replies and comments. They're where relationships happen, and Postel doesn't write them.
The stories. Claude can shape a story you tell it. It can't know one you didn't.
The final yes. Keep approvals on for the schedule and publish tools.
Write and schedule your posts from Claude, in your own voice
Postel learns how you write, drafts posts in your voice and publishes them to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon on schedule. Use it on its own or from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.

Not on its own. Claude needs a connector that can publish. With Postel connected, Claude drafts, schedules and publishes posts to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon after you approve them.
Can Claude schedule social media posts?
Yes, through a connector. Ask Claude to schedule a post for a date and time and Postel queues it. Scheduling needs a paid Postel plan or the trial.
Which social networks can Claude post to with Postel?
X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon. On LinkedIn, posts go to your personal LinkedIn profile.
Is Claude good for social media marketing?
For writing, yes: drafting, rewriting for each network, planning a week and studying what worked. It needs your voice and your facts to sound like you. It isn't a social inbox, a listening tool or an ads manager.
Claude or ChatGPT for social media?
Both write well when you give them your own posts as examples, and both can connect to Postel. Pick the one you already use every day. For ChatGPT, see how to connect ChatGPT to LinkedIn.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
No. Claude's free plan can add one custom connector, and Postel's directory listing connects the same way on every plan, including on Claude's phone apps once it's set up (checked October 30, 2026).
What does Postel cost?
$1 for 7 days, then from $29 a month. Cancel anytime. The Claude connector is included in every plan.
