What’s in your X Wrapped
Four of your seven cards, made to be posted: 9:16 for your story, square for your feed. Tap one to see it full size.
Your year as a ring
One line for every day of 2026, as long as that day’s reach. Your best line from your best post, set large underneath.
The post that went furthest
In its real shape, with its real numbers, and how far it went past a typical post of yours.
The people who showed up
The five people who replied to you most. When you share it, they’re tagged, which is how they find out about theirs.
The kind of creator you were
One plain label from a short list, with your weeks as proof and the rule printed underneath, so you can check it.
Every number comes from a post
Counted, not guessed
Every number is added up from your posts. No AI estimates a total, and every card says where its number comes from.
Only what you made
Posts and quote posts from Jan 1 to Nov 30, 2026. Replies and reposts aren’t counted.
Fair comparisons
“120× your usual” compares your best post with your median post, not the average, so one big hit doesn’t make the rest look small. It’s only shown at 3× or more.
Nothing that stings
No follower losses, no “down from last year”, no rank in the bottom half. If a number doesn’t exist, the card leaves it out instead of showing a zero.
The kinds of poster, and the rule behind each
Each card prints its rule in small print. They’re checked in this order, and the first one that fits is yours. With fewer than 12 posts you get a shorter Wrapped without a type.
| Type | Rule |
|---|---|
| Consistent | posted in at least 90% of weeks |
| Kept the streak | posted 14 days in a row or more |
| Storyteller | median post over 400 characters, and long posts beat short ones |
| Keeps it short | half the posts under 100 characters |
| Worth saving | at least one save for every 3 likes, on the median post |
| Starts conversations | at least one reply for every 4 likes, on the median post |
| Early bird | at least 40% of posts between 5am and 9am |
| Night owl | at least 40% of posts between 9pm and 3am |
| Swung big | 60 posts or fewer, and the top one went 20 times further than the median |
| Mixed it up | no single pattern ran the year |
How X Wrapped works
- 1
Type your @handle
On this page, from Dec 1. No password and nothing to connect: your posts are public, so that’s all it needs.
- 2
Watch your year fill in
Your profile shows up at once, then your posts load month by month and the ring draws itself as they arrive. Most accounts take a few seconds.
- 3
Keep the cards
Sign in with X in one tap for the full set. Save them as images for your story or feed, or post one on X with text you can edit first.
What we read, and what we don’t
- Your public X posts and their public numbers: the same ones anyone sees on your profile.
- Who replied to you, counted from public replies. Only you see that card unless you share it.
- Nothing private: no messages, no password, no permission to post.
- You decide whether your Wrapped gets a page others can open. You can delete it any time, and every page goes away on Mar 31, 2027.
Questions
- What is X Wrapped?
- X Wrapped is a year in review of the posts you wrote on X (Twitter) in 2026: how many, how far they went, the one that went furthest, the people who replied to you most, and a card to share. X doesn’t make one itself, so Postel makes it, free, from your public posts.
- Is this the same as Twitter Wrapped?
- Yes. X used to be called Twitter, so people search for both. It’s the same thing: your year of posts on X.
- Do I need to log in to X or give a password?
- No. You type your @handle, and Postel reads your public posts the way anyone visiting your profile could. To keep the cards and make a page to share, you sign in to Postel with X in one tap, which also shows the account is yours.
- What counts as a post?
- Posts and quote posts you wrote from Jan 1 to Nov 30, 2026. Replies and reposts aren’t counted, so the numbers are about what you made. Views are X’s own view counts on those posts.
- Why is my number different from X’s analytics?
- X’s analytics include your replies and cover whatever range you pick. Your Wrapped counts only your posts and quotes, and only 2026. Very large accounts are read up to their 3,000 most recent posts, and the card says so when that happens.
- Can I look up someone else?
- Yes, you can preview any public account. Only the owner sees who replied to them most, and only the owner can turn it into a page others can open.
- My account is private. Does it work?
- No. Protected posts stay protected: we can’t read them, and we won’t ask you to change that.
- When can I get mine?
- On Dec 1, 2026. Leave your email and you get one email that day, nothing else. The cards cover Jan 1 to Nov 30. In January they’re redone with the whole year, and you can make a new set.
- Is it free?
- Yes. There’s no paid version and no card to enter. You can start without an account. To keep your cards and share them, you sign in with one tap, with X, LinkedIn or Google. There’s no password to make.
- Who makes this?
- Postel, a small company in Berlin that makes a tool for writing and scheduling posts in your own voice. Wrapped is free whether or not you ever use Postel. See what Postel does
