Magnific Move is out: motion graphics you direct by talking. Animated charts, launch videos, logo reveals, UI demos. Describe what you want, point at what to change, switch between 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. Every layer stays editable. I tested it on a logo reveal for a gothic…

The coding interview is dead, at least for my team at Anthropic. I've seen enough to know that it no longer provides signal. I removed it from loops this month. I have a spicy, optimistic take - I think there's an opportunity for junior engineers:

By topic

Each topic page covers the last four weeks, so it has enough posts to show what's working there.

Every month: the hooks behind the month's most viral posts. Across 2026, with ranges and a CSV: what made X posts go viral.

How we count

Postel's library follows thousands of individual creators on X: founders, builders, writers and other people posting as themselves. Brands, news and fan accounts, politicians and aggregators are kept out. This page reads their original English posts from Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026 (9,528 of them), leaving out replies and reposts.

A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before the period ended, leaving out posts younger than three days. Comparing each post with its own creator means a big account's ordinary post doesn't count, and a small account's unusually big post does.

A model then reads every viral post and leaves out politics, gossip, news about other people, health claims, get-rich pitches, giveaways and anything else this page shouldn't feature. A second, stricter model approves each post before it's shown with its creator's name. The list ranks the approved posts by how far each beat its creator's usual, one post per creator. Openings are sorted by the plain rules in the table.

Every post links to the original on X. Creators: if you'd rather your post weren't on this page, send its link through the contact form and it comes off within a few days.

Questions

What is going viral on X right now?

In the week of Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026, 906 of the 9,528 English posts Postel tracked from creators on X went viral: each got at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. The 10 that beat their creator's usual by the most are on this page, with a link to each post on X.

How does Postel decide a post went viral?

A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before the week ended (leaving out the last three days), so a big account's normal post doesn't count and a small account's unusually big post does.

Whose posts are on this list?

Only individual creators: founders, builders, writers and other people posting as themselves. Brands, news and fan accounts, politicians and aggregators are kept out of Postel's library, and every post on this page passes a content check that leaves out politics, gossip, news about other people, giveaways and anything else this page shouldn't feature.

How often is this page updated?

Every Tuesday, with the week (Monday to Sunday) that just ended. It waits a day so Sunday's posts have time to gather views.

Can I see what's going viral in my niche?

Yes. The topic pages linked on this page (AI, startups, developers, careers, marketing and sales, design, investing and content creators) cover the last four weeks. Inside Postel, the full library is searchable by keyword, and For You picks the viral posts that fit what you write about and drafts your own take on each.

I'm on this list. Can I have my post removed?

Yes. Send the post's link through the contact form at postel.app/contact and it comes off this page and every page like it within a few days. The page shows the start of your post (up to 280 characters) with your name and a link to it on X, never its photos or videos.
