Last week, I told my Grok @bot to surprise me with a gift. I said it could use up to $100 from my X Money account, and asked it to consider my tweets + our conversations to pick a good present. Look what arrived today! Even included a Halloween surprise 🎃

How we count

Postel's library follows thousands of individual creators on X: founders, builders, writers and other people posting as themselves. Brands, news and fan accounts, politicians and aggregators are kept out. This page reads their original English posts from Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026, leaving out replies and reposts.

A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before the period ended, leaving out posts younger than three days. Comparing each post with its own creator means a big account's ordinary post doesn't count, and a small account's unusually big post does.

A model then reads every viral post, sorts it into a topic by what it's about, and leaves out politics, gossip, news about other people, health claims, get-rich pitches, giveaways and anything else this page shouldn't feature. A second, stricter model approves each post before it's shown with its creator's name. The list ranks the approved posts by how far each beat its creator's usual, one post per creator. Openings are sorted by the plain rules in the table.

Every post links to the original on X. Creators: if you'd rather your post weren't on this page, send its link through the contact form and it comes off within a few days.

What do viral AI posts have in common?

Of the 68 AI posts that went viral on X in the week of October 26 to November 1, 2026 and passed Postel's content check, 35% led with a number and 66% had a photo or video. The median one was 298 characters long, and the biggest, by @LudovicCreator, got 118 times its creator's usual views.

How does Postel decide a post went viral?

A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before that week ended (leaving out the last three days). The topic comes from what the post is about, not from who wrote it.

How often is this page updated?

Every Tuesday. It covers the last full week (Monday to Sunday), so a topic has enough posts to show what's working.

I'm on this list. Can I have my post removed?

Yes. Send the post's link through the contact form at postel.app/contact and it comes off this page and every page like it within a few days.
