it's important to reject the belief that mass behavior can be understood. it cannot. for example, liberty mutual ran "Limu Emu and Doug" commercials for 7 years bc analyses presumably showed that there exists a significant number of people who bought LiMu insurance *on the basis…

Most founders think cold email is dead. We've sent 10M+ of them and built $70M+ in pipeline. 10 things that still work in 2026: 1) Delete the unsubscribe link from every cold email Write "if you don't want more emails, reply 'banana' and I'll stop" instead. Every opt-out…

blows my mind that more local service businesses aren't using public data to find customers... you can detect events that CREATE demand for your service and find potential customers BEFORE they even start looking. hailstorms = roofers, window installers renovation permits =…

2 years ago, i had done zero marketing. i'd been an engineer my entire life. when i told a founder friend we were building a consumer product, he told me, "tanay, you don't have that consumer dna. you don't know how to build a brand. you shouldn't do this." it sounded like a…

How we count
Postel's library follows thousands of individual creators on X: founders, builders, writers and other people posting as themselves. Brands, news and fan accounts, politicians and aggregators are kept out. This page reads their original English posts from Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026, leaving out replies and reposts.
A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before the period ended, leaving out posts younger than three days. Comparing each post with its own creator means a big account's ordinary post doesn't count, and a small account's unusually big post does.
A model then reads every viral post, sorts it into a topic by what it's about, and leaves out politics, gossip, news about other people, health claims, get-rich pitches, giveaways and anything else this page shouldn't feature. A second, stricter model approves each post before it's shown with its creator's name. The list ranks the approved posts by how far each beat its creator's usual, one post per creator. Openings are sorted by the plain rules in the table.
Every post links to the original on X. Creators: if you'd rather your post weren't on this page, send its link through the contact form and it comes off within a few days.

Questions
What marketing and sales posts are going viral on X right now?
From Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026, 15 marketing and sales posts from 11 creators in Postel's library went viral (each got at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all) and passed its content check. What do viral marketing and sales posts have in common?
Of the 15 marketing and sales posts that went viral on X in the week of October 26 to November 1, 2026 and passed Postel's content check, 20% were lists and 53% had a photo or video. The median one was 438 characters long, and the biggest, by @NickAbraham12, got 44 times its creator's usual views.
How does Postel decide a post went viral?
A post counts as viral when it gets at least 3 times its creator's usual views and 10,000 views in all. A creator's usual is the median views of their posts over the 60 days before that week ended (leaving out the last three days). The topic comes from what the post is about, not from who wrote it.
How often is this page updated?
Every Tuesday. It covers the last full week (Monday to Sunday), so a topic has enough posts to show what's working.
I'm on this list. Can I have my post removed?
Yes. Send the post's link through the contact form at postel.app/contact and it comes off this page and every page like it within a few days.
